The information in this article applies to :
OroTimesheet 7.x (English)
OroTimesheet 7.x (French)

Description
For an unknown reason, on some computers, it looks like there is an incompatibility between EXE files of OroTimesheet and the option Data Execution Prevention (DEP) of Windows. This causes that when you try to run OroTimesheet or one of its programs, you receive an error message of type Access violation at address...

Solution
To fix the situation, follow steps below:

Go in the option Data Execution Prevention of Windows. To reach this option, right-click on the My Computer icon then select the option Properties from the popup menu. Then, select the tab Advanced then click on the button Settings from the Performance section. Then select the tab Data Execution Prevention.

Then, select the option Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select, then add the following programs to the exclusion list:

OT.EXE
TIMER.EXE
OTWEBSRV.EXE
PUNCH.EXE
REPINST.EXE
RG.EXE
SRVMAN.EXE
SQLTOOLS.EXE
FBTOOLS.EXE

These programs are located in the OroTimesheet 7 installation folder, usually C:\Program Files\OroLogic\OroTimesheet7.

Then, click the button OK then click the other button OK to save changes.

Run back OroTimesheet 7 and everything should work normally.
